Home battery assessment
EcoFlow battery savings & installer quotes
- OCEAN Pro is a permanent solar-and-storage system
- Battery modules provide a defined path to more storage
- Check state and utility rebates; eligibility varies
- Shortlist Solar-vetted installers, subject to availability
What could a battery save you?
OCEAN Pro

Enter your ZIP code to get started.
No contact details needed to see your estimate. Request quotes only when you’re ready.
Estimates use a general battery model, not a specific product. Actual savings depend on your electricity plan, usage and installation. Quotes depend on installer availability.
What goes into your EcoFlow battery?
EcoFlow’s Ocean Pro is an installed home battery offering in the US. Scope the project around that system rather than treating EcoFlow’s portable power products as equivalent equipment.
Existing solar and compatibility
A portable EcoFlow battery or a panel accessory is not the same installation as Ocean Pro.
From your EcoFlow assessment to a quote request
Start with your ZIP code, whether you have solar and your power bill. The assessment uses those answers to model battery savings, with assumptions shown alongside the result; it is not a performance calculation for a particular EcoFlow model.
If you want to continue, your EcoFlow preference and assessment answers carry into the quote form on this page.
A request is subject to participating-installer availability for your address and EcoFlow. Ask any matched company who will do the work, and verify the crew’s current licensing, insurance and relevant manufacturer training.
Before you accept a EcoFlow proposal
- Name Ocean Pro and every proposed inverter, battery and gateway component.
- Ask the installer to assess the connection to existing or planned solar.
- Confirm the monitoring handover and responsibility for ongoing system configuration.
A closer look at your EcoFlow installation plan
Describe the EcoFlow project as fixed home storage when starting this assessment. Portable devices involve a different scope. Ask which OCEAN Pro or other fixed US configuration is proposed. Identify the control equipment supplied with it. Have any existing EcoFlow products assessed separately. The brand name should not stand in for a complete residential equipment schedule.
Ask the EcoFlow designer to explain the selected household connection. A smart panel and a meter backup switch have distinct roles. Request the actual components in the quote. Have the circuit priorities shown on the drawing. Clarify any applicable utility process for the proposed arrangement. Optional accessories should remain distinguishable from the hardware needed for the agreed installation.
Keep the EcoFlow storage and control configuration in the handover record. Request a demonstration of homeowner monitoring. Ask which circuits the installed controls manage. Identify the first support contact for the complete system. Have exclusions explained before accepting completion. A future change should be checked against this fixed installation rather than a different EcoFlow product generation.
Prepare your EcoFlow quote checklist
Bring the EcoFlow installer a recent electricity bill, your tariff name and any interval-usage data your utility makes available. Describe when the home uses power, when an EV is parked at home and whether heating, cooling or a pump dominates demand; the estimate’s bill band is a starting point rather than a replacement for those details.
Ask for the EcoFlow proposal to separate equipment, electrical changes, permits, commissioning and any optional work. Confirm the usable capacity, continuous output and backup arrangement for the complete configuration being quoted, and identify exclusions before agreeing to an installation scope.
Have each EcoFlow installer use the same list of appliances and the same backup priorities when preparing a design. If two proposals differ in battery quantity, controller equipment or circuits, ask for the reason in writing; a lower total may reflect a different job rather than a saving on an equivalent system.
Check the assumptions behind a EcoFlow savings projection: electricity rates, export credits, daily usage, charging sources, reserve settings and future price increases. Request a comparison using your current tariff as well as any proposed tariff change, and keep bill savings separate from equipment cost, financing and the value you place on backup.
Before accepting a EcoFlow contract, identify the company responsible for permits, utility permission, inspections and commissioning. Confirm the payment milestones and what happens if site inspection changes the equipment or electrical scope; do not treat an indicative assessment or an initial quote as a completed site design.
Keep the final EcoFlow equipment schedule, warranty conditions and workmanship terms with the signed proposal. Ask who handles an installation fault, whether diagnosis and labor are covered and how to contact service if the original salesperson is unavailable; a manufacturer's equipment warranty does not by itself explain every installation responsibility.
EcoFlow assessment questions
Will the assessment predict my exact EcoFlow savings?
The EcoFlow assessment does not simulate OCEAN Pro or select a home control panel. It models storage from household answers. Ask a contractor to assess the actual fixed equipment, utility connection and supported circuits independently of the result.
Can I explore EcoFlow if I already have solar?
A portable EcoFlow battery or a panel accessory is not the same installation as Ocean Pro.
What happens when I request EcoFlow quotes?
EcoFlow stays attached to the household answers in the optional contact step. Matching considers participating-installer eligibility and verified brand credentials where available, with no more than three matches and possibly none. Confirm that a responding company’s offer concerns the fixed home system rather than portable power products.
Does an EcoFlow assessment commit me to buying?
Exploring EcoFlow here does not reserve storage or panel equipment. The estimate and optional request are free to homeowners. Accepting a home-energy installation is a separate decision after reviewing the actual components, electrical work and contractor agreement.
